Yes- we are still having our Tuesday Scrap Togethers! This is a short term, so we are having a real focus on CHRISTMAS! (only 56 sleeps!) Next week is MELBOURNE CUP- so we are having a knee's up shin-dig at Tumby Pub, for lunch. All are welcome to attend (Bookings needed) I will post the rest of the term schedule later this weekend!

Costs: $2.00 per person per week- Hire to the Church. PLUS KIT OF THE DAY! $6 Cardmaking Kit – 3 cards of the day, AND/OR $6 Scrapbooking Kit – Double Page Layout or mini kit Or do your own thing, with all your own equipment & supplies etc. If using any of our equipment, inks or stamps a donation to Jane or Jan is required. Some stock is available to purchase or orders taken each week. Tea/Coffee is available for $5.00 at the start of each term for the kitty to purchase milk each week and Tea/Coffee when required. Young children are welcome- but must be under parental control- any damage is to be cleaned up/paid for by parent.

We got a new computer and have had a few issues getting 'stuff' from one to the other- we've actually lost some information as well! SO- if you have tried to contact us, but had no reply- try again- 'cos we are (hopefully) back online and functioning!!

Anzac biscuits
Serving size: Serves 10 or more Cuisine type: Modern Australian Cooking time: Less than 30 minutes Favourite flavours: Cakes/baking
Makes approx 40 biscuits INGREDIENTS
125g butter, chopped coarsely 2 tablespoons golden syrup ¾ teaspoon bicarbonate of soda 1 tablespoon water 1 cup (90g) rolled oats 1 cup (90g) desiccated coconut 1 cup (150g) plain flour ¾ cup (165g) brown sugar METHOD
Preheat oven to 160°C or 140°C fan-forced.
Combine butter and syrup in a small saucepan. Heat gently until butter and syrup melt.
Combine bicarbonate of soda and water in a small bowl and stir into butter mixture.
Combine remaining ingredients in a large bowl. Pour over warm butter mixture and stir well to combine.
Roll rounded teaspoons of mixture into balls. Place about 4 cm apart on baking paper lined baking trays and flatten slightly.
Bake in preheated oven 12-15 minutes or until golden brown. Remove from oven and cool 5 minutes on baking trays; transfer to a wire rack to finish cooling.
